On a large oval field in Australia.
How you play
- Two teams of 18 move an oval ball on a huge oval.
- You may kick, handball, or catch the ball.
- A catch from a kick is called a mark. You may then kick freely.
- Umpires watch the rules.
ScoreA goal through the middle posts is six points. A behind through the outer posts is one point.
WinThe team with more points at the end wins.
The field is oval, not a rectangle. It is one of the biggest team pitches in sport.
