On a grass pitch.
How you play
- Two teams of 15 try to move the oval ball up the pitch.
- You may run with the ball, pass it backwards, or kick it.
- A tackled player must release the ball.
- A referee watches the rules.
ScoreA try is five points. A kick through the posts after a try adds two. A penalty kick is three.
WinThe team with more points at the end wins.
The Rugby World Cup is held every four years. Rugby sevens, a shorter game, is the one at the Olympic Games.
