Ice and snow

Skiing

On a snowy mountain.

How you play

1. Skiers race down a snowy course, or perform tricks.
2. In a timed race you must pass every gate.
3. A missed gate adds a penalty or ends the run.
4. You get one or two runs in many races.

Score. In a race, the clock decides. In a trick event, judges give a score.

Win. In a race, the fastest fair time wins. In a trick event, the higher score wins.

Alpine skiing uses fixed-heel boots. Cross-country skiing lets the heel lift.
